Plenty of Air for Times to Come  - 99 Years of BOGE

It is with much vigour that the Bielefeld, Germany, based BOGE compressor manufacturers and compressed air suppliers are preparing to enter into their 100th year of existence. Named after its founder Otto Boge (1878-1937) the company is now under the direction of its 4th family generation with great-grandson Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven and Rolf Struppek ensuring internationality and future sustainability.

"It's a great feeling to be able to celebrate one's past and, at the same time, enjoy the present and to confidently look into the future", says Meier-Scheuven emphasizing BOGE's growth prospects. And Struppek to add that "outstanding quality, innovation and efficiency will allow us to keep the edge on the market".

For more than 99 years, this company of long tradition managed to further develop its business and work its will to actively shape its own future. With this attitude BOGE will continue to grow not only under global business conditions but also at its home base in Bielefeld, Germany. Compared to last year, current order inflow clearly shows a two-digit growth. A new logistics centre is planned in Jöllenbeck, Germany, as of 2007. "All that provides for secure workplaces", explains Meier-Scheuven.
