Just having turned 100, BOGE, in its anniversary year 2007, has achieved a double digit growth (just shy off 18%) and for the first time
in its history reached the 100 million Euro turnover target (2006: 85 million Euros). "This is the eleventh record year in a row", BOGE in Bielefeld is proud to announce.
This positive
development is particularly due to consistent internationalization. BOGE supplies compressed air solutions to more than 80 countries and, now with India and Russia aboard, successfully increased the
number of own foreign agencies to 13 altogether during the current year.
The share of export turnover is currently at around 60 % (2006: 55 %). Since 1995 (as compared to a 46 million Euro
turnover with an export share of 25 %) BOGE has been able to create 150 new safe jobs. This medium sized company employs 550 people worldwide, 435 of which in Germany.
BOGE also plans to expand
the Bielefeld-Jöllenbeck facility (approx. 4,500 m²) and to invest 10 million Euros in this conjunction (logistics centre for incoming goods, warehouse and dispatch, as well as a new production centre
for improvement of the vertical range of manufacture with regard to single components).
This equally serves to optimize the internal work process and, at the same time, to meet customer
requirements even more rapidly and efficiently and to still further improve the quality of the final product.
And last, but not least, such investments are clearly focused on the future prospects
of the company which considers itself as a premium supplier of compressors and energy efficient compressed air system solutions.
