How BOGE helps the Alpirsbacher Brewery brew its beer

The challenge
The bottling plant and aeration of the beer wort are operated via pneumatic vacuum generators and pneumatic cylinders at Alpirsbacher, which require oil-free, constantly dried compressed air. Because of the increased compressed air requirements, the plant now needs to be expanded – with maximum operating safety and redundancy.

The BOGE solution
Alpirsbacher opted for modern components from BOGE – including two BOGE S 56-4 LF frequency-controlled screw compressors with oil injection cooling and a power output of 55 kW, controlled by the airtelligence provis 3 compressor management system. In addition to reduced energy consumption and lower noise emissions, excellent figures were reached for effectiveness, reliability and efficiency.
