4. Definitions

This Privacy Policy is based on the terminology used by the European legislator when adopting the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). A third party is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor, and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.

10. Consent

Consent means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which the data subject, through a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.

5. Legal basis for processing

Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR (in conjunction with Section 25 (1) TDDDG (formerly TTDSG)) serves as the legal basis for our company for processing activities where we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose.

If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, as is the case, for example, with processing activities required for the delivery of goods or the provision of another service or consideration, the processing is based on Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Within the scope of the processing operations described in this privacy policy, personal data may be transferred to the United States. Companies in the United States only have an adequate level of data protection if they have certified themselves under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and thus the adequacy decision of the EU Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR applies. 7.1 Hosting by Amazon Web Services - AWS

We host our website with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, 1855 Luxembourg.

We use the analytics service Hotjar, a service provided by Contentsquare, on our website.
